The short, honest version
Privacy
We collect as little as possible, we don't sell it, and we don't run creepy trackers. Here's exactly what happens.
If you join
When you take the Peakspan Pledge, we store your email address and whether you asked for the monthly challenge. That's it — no name, no IP address, no profile. It's kept on our own server and used only to send you the occasional Peakspan field note.
Unsubscribe / delete
You can leave anytime. Email hello@peakspansociety.com and we'll delete your address, no questions asked.
Analytics
We measure traffic with server-side analytics that are cookieless and anonymize visitor IPs. We don't use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or cross-site trackers, and the site sets no tracking cookies.
We also measure basic engagement — whether pages are read or quickly left — with a small first-party signal. It uses a random, temporary ID kept only in your browser's session storage (it disappears when you close the tab), sets no cookies, stores no personal data, and never leaves this site. It exists so we can tell which pages are useful, nothing more.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links are affiliate links, routed through our own /go/ redirects and marked sponsored. When you click one, you go to the merchant, who has their own privacy practices. We may earn a commission; you pay nothing extra. See the affiliate disclosure.
No medical data
We don't collect health information, run medical screening, or make health claims. Everything here is educational, not medical advice.
