We negotiate discounts for Peakspan readers where we can. Some of our links may also earn the Society a commission — it never costs you extra. Many others, including podcast links and expert resources, earn us nothing at all. We only feature what we'd put in our own kit.
How it works
We negotiate discounts and preferred pricing with brands we trust — Momentous, for example, offers Peakspan readers a discount through our partnership code. Some of these links may also earn Peakspan Society a commission through affiliate programs (including the Amazon Associates Program). It never changes the price you pay — and in many cases, you're paying less than list price.
Many of our links earn us nothing at all. Podcast episodes, expert resources, research sources, and curated voices all link directly to their creators with no affiliate relationship. We link to what's worth your time, whether it pays us or not.
What we commit to
- Editorial first. We choose what to write about, and what to recommend, before we think about whether it pays. A commission never buys placement.
- Discounts where we can get them. When a brand relationship includes a reader discount, we build it into the link. You shouldn't have to hunt for codes.
- Only what we'd use. If we wouldn't put it in our own kit or hand it to a friend, it doesn't go in an article.
- Clearly marked. Affiliate links carry a
sponsoredtag and route through our own/go/redirects so nothing is hidden. - No medical advice. Our articles are educational, not a substitute for a clinician who knows your history.
